The FormBuilder plugin allows the administrator to create contact forms of a variety of types for use on their WordPress blog. The FormBuilder has built-in spam protection and can be further protected by installing the Akismet anti-spam plugin. Uninstall instructions can be found here. Forms can be included on your pages and posts either by selecting the appropriate form in the dropdown below the content editing box, or by adding them directly to the content with [formbuilder:#] where # is the ID number of the form to be included.

Having conducted various tests I am pleased with the results.
Very easy to use when you have practised starting with the generic form that is included in the plug-in.
At this stage I would recommend that all our members start using it.
You can have multi forms and multi auto responses.
I guess you can even set up a questionaire/competition/pub quiz.
For added security I recommend you include ‘hidden’ field in all your forms as this is the method of reverse captcha – because harvesting/posting bots will see it and try to complete and will fail as system recognises it does not require input.
For more info visit WORDPRESS

This can be added directly through your dashboard having selected ‘plugins’ from your menu on left.

When successfully installed go to ‘tools’ menu on left of dashboard and get to work.

Have fun. – I did.

Example Form:

Thanks for the invite to Sunday’s Speakers’ Corner.

Oh! How I miss those days both at The Mound in Edinburgh and Speakers’ Corner in Hyde Park London!

We didn’t debate much about the US in those days, apart from the general reference to them being ‘over here’ and ‘over-sexed’ as particularly relating to your brave and valiant members of the US Navy, Air Force and Army, who had been there to help out in our fight against that particular scourge of the world.

Our focus was more on the ‘attraction’ of communism- ( I guess we meant Socialism) - as an alternative to the system then in place. Many notable scholars went on to embrace this creed and joined forces with those Nations who practised this method and life-style – particularly Joseph Stalin and his successors.

The other dominant issues included George Orwell’s book – 1984. However the main topic was the fear that China would take over the world because of the large population and the need to improve their ‘quality of life’.

Today it is interesting to note ‘that didn’t happen’ – yet! I guess it was difficult to get many motivated to give up their life in and around the paddy-fields. Apart from Formosa – since renamed-, Chairman Mao and The Cultural Revolution, and their invasion of Tibet, not a lot was heard from that neck of the woods until The Tianemen Square massacre of students, who I think were after some form of freedom? Human Right’s Abuse personified in ‘Spades’ I submit!

Getting right up to date. Most things I buy today are made in China. Transplant organs are in plentiful supply throughout the world – many from US companies- available from the many hundreds still executed for ‘treason’.

Christianity has been given the ‘green light’ by the state and many churches are being opened under ’state licence’. Is this the way of getting the people to rally behind the cause – the new ‘believers with money’? I doubt this will affect the millions still living in abject poverty throughout the rest of the country, unable by law to have children by choice.

Thanks for the opportunity to have my say. As for the Muslims – a few are also busy commiting their own brand of genocide under the supervision of the occupying forces. However it does us well to be aware that throughout history there are many cases of ‘deprived’ peoples revolting against unjust causes. Indeed the US did that themselves against us.

For a little more reading I recommend ‘The Jungle’ by Upton Sinclair. – It’s about life around a Chicago meat packing factory – that was also interesting.

Peace and tranquility to all.

The Old Duck.

ZIMBABWE: AS CHOLERA ESCALATES, RED CROSS FUNDING FALLS SHORT

With the number of cholera deaths increasing 20% in one week, and with
thousands at risk of infection, the British Red Cross appeals for urgent
funds to save lives in Zimbabwe.

Figures from the Zimbabwe Ministry of Health and the World Health
Organization reveal a worsening crisis. As of 21 January, 48,623 cases
had been reported, with 2,755 deaths. Most alarming, according to Red
Cross Red Crescent health experts, is the mortality rate of 5.7 per
cent, an indication that the outbreak is still far from under control.
Overall, this signifies a 20 per cent increase in cholera deaths over
the past week and rings alarm bells about the need to push back this
epidemic and better fund the humanitarian effort on the ground.

The British Red Cross have sent a team of water and sanitation experts
to Zimbabwe to respond to the emergency.
“We have been able to send an emergency response team into Zimbabwe,
thanks to money from the public and a significant donation from
GlaxoSmithKline to the British Red Cross Appeal,” said Pete Garrett,
Relief Operations Manager, British Red Cross.

“However our struggle now is to raise more funds to supply hygiene kits
for communities. There kits can make the difference between life and
death, they contain really basic items that help to halt or prevent
cholera outbreaks. When you consider that it costs just £1 a day – less
than a cup of coffee – to protect a family of five from cholera, it
shows that any donation, large or small, can make a huge difference. We
need to get these kits out there now”.

The scale of the cholera outbreaks has prompted an unprecedented mass
deployment of international Red Cross and Red Crescent resources. The
International Federation of the Red Cross Red Crescent has also launched
an appeal for £6.2m. However the appeal is about 60 per cent
underfunded.

“The global Red Cross has rallied behind the people of Zimbabwe and the
Zimbabwe Red Cross,” explained Emma Kundishora, the secretary general of
the ZRCS. “Our volunteers and staff are on the ground and progress is
being made. But we need the funds to go the last mile.”

To give to the British Red Cross Zimbabwe & Region Appeal visit
www.redcross.org.uk/zimbabweregion or call 0845 054 7200 . Postal
donations can be sent to British Red Cross, UKO, 44 Moorfields, London,
EC2Y 9AL
